My Top 3 Photos of 2011

So, in this particular order, I have chosen my top 3 photos of the year, 2011. I have based my decision based on uniqueness, style and most of all, the initial contact I had with the person, whether they have left me a positive  memorable impression. All 3 have shown who they are without caring what anyone thinks or cares, they just simply express their personality through their sense of fashion. The 1st 2 photos were chosen on the NY Times just check my posts , if interested. I will continue doing what I do, however I must admit many times I wonder why I do what I do. I have always said the best part of what I do is meeting some  interesting and unique  people , some were not very nice but on the most part, they have been great. Looking forward to more fashion in 2012 and meeting you. Just feel free to be who you are and you never know I may ask you if I can take a photo. Happy New Year and thanks to all those who were willing to take a picture, much appreciated.!!! Bacione!!!

I would like to nominate this vintage girl as honorable mention. I remember in February 2011, it was cold in NYC ( not according Canada's winters) but she took the time to talk to me, answer my questions through a shivering tone.  I think she was great and simply unique, once again bravo to all and looking forward to meet many more.

More Hair Fashion in The City

Hair, like fashion can be creative, fun and innovative. We each have our own personal style that express who we really are.

More Italian Chic

I have been to many cities around the world  and I still think Milano is the fashion capital of the world. One can debate between Milano and or Paris but overall it is still in Europe and it has  become major influence here in North America. Such class and elegance, bravo on this one!!!

Red Like Love,is Always in the Streets -Milano

I saw so much red this year, which is great, however I still can't bring myself to wear it, just does not do it for me. Just wish I had a better lens to show my readers the details of what I see. Not sure about you but I really love those shoes!!!

La Bellissima Giulia

Once again, that European look is back on. Her name is Giulia and she is simply beautiful. I met her in Milano, Italy. I don't remember which show it was at but I do remember I was particularly in the middle of the street just snapping away. It's fun being a street style blogger but sometimes we must remind ourselves to be careful. So back to Giulia, she is wearing a kimono style dress with gladiator shoes. Beautiful!!!Grazie per la photo bella!!!

Too Pretty in the Streets of Milano

I love this one because of the contrast of colors.  It almost looks like abstract  art on a canvas,  Not only is she pretty but definitely has that European look you will not find in other cities I usually  shoot street style. Bravo to this one!!!

A Touch of African Influence

I love how this long skirt just flows away. She then  decorates it with this large, almost beaded necklace, so much african influence, simply love that uniqueness. I give it my "bravo".

Black and White and Pleats

Do you know there are more than 8 different types of pleats in fashion? To name a few , there is the  box pleat to the cartridge pleat. According to my research, the skirt in this photo shows a knife pleat. A knife pleat is a pressed-in pleat usually placed one-half inch apart. Pleats are pressed together all in the same direction.
